Arriba - For Sale

Bay Sabino Holsteiner Filly

Foaled: June 27, 2008

17.0+hh (mature)

LOOK OUT HUNTER WORLD!!!  Arriba has lovely feminine sabino markings with an almost lacy blaze, white bottom lip and four white pointy socks.  Her legs were SO long when she was born, we had to help her to her feet for the first day until she figured out how to coordinate her "stilts".  Hubby, Marty, called himself her "training wheels".  But once she got the hang of it, she started cantering around and jumping anything in site (the hose is her favorite "ground pole").  I'm sure Catapult is very happy to be sharing his birthday with perhaps a future girlfriend!

Congratulations to Hayley for naming this filly!

Bloodlines: Caletto II, Fax I, Landgraf I, Cor De La Bryère x 4

Sabino Warmblood Holsteiner Mare Ole

Double Take

There are updated photos and videos of Doramé and Double Take, who is now turning a beautiful chocolate liver chestnut around her eyes and muzzle especially, but also has an inch or so of dark mane growing in as well.  Both fillies have super personalities and outstanding movement.  Be sure to check out their videos.

The Foals link on our website will take you to a summary page of all of our foals we have including upcoming foals as well as past foals that we have had at our farm.

FARM UPDATE

We took new videos of our jumping superstar, Catapult, our imported buckskin sabino Swedish Warmblood stallion prospect.  The sun was high when we were taking the video so he looks darker than he is, but he still looks wonderful.  There is video of him trotting/cantering as well as one jumping - check out the lack of jump chute in the jumping video.  Catapult loves jumping so much that we never have to use a chute leading to the first fence.  We also took several photos and will be taking new confirmation shots shortly.  He continues to be so well behaved that he gets to walk out beside one of his girlfriends, Clair de Lune, out to the paddocks in the morning... although he always seems more interested in the grass than her (which is just how we like it).

2008 BREEDING SEASON - UPDATE

Clair de Lune (imported buckskin Swedish Warmblood) has been confirmed in foal (15 day check) to For Play (Elite Hanov) a newly imported stallion.  This foal will have a 50% chance of being palomino or buckskin, 50% chance of being sabino and will be registered with SWANA.  Due in May 2009.

We are still trying to settle Jamaica (imported buckskin Swedish Warmblood).  We have tried three times now to breed her to Olympic Concorde (Preferent KWPN). without any luck so far.  We will try one more time before switching her to fresh semen.  We plan on showing her in a few hunter shows later this season.

Travola (imported sabino Dutch Warmblood) was bred to Chin Chin (BWP/KWPN) but unfortunately didn't catch on her first attempt.  We will be breeding her again hopefully this week.  This foal would have a 50% chance of being sabino and would be registered with KWPN-NA.

Until next time, happy horsing!
