Concorde's dam, Flyer, is by
the legendary Marco
Polo, one of the most influential Dutch
stallions in breeding and jumping.
Flyer
is related to the International jumper Vivaldi, who, under
rider Melanie Smith, was speed horse of the Year in 1980. Flyer
produced at least 6 (Inter)national jumpers, including Concorde.
Concorde, with Piet Raymakers, the Silver Medal winner in Barcelona, was the spectacular winner of the 1990 National Stallion
Championships.
With his rider, Jos Lansink, Concorde was winner of
the Grand Prix of Nordrhein-Westfalen at Aken and was Champion of the
Netherlands
in 1994, placed 2nd in the Grand Prix of Amsterdam, 2nd at
Darmstadt, 2nd at Lanaken, 2nd at
Helsinki

Concorde was the youngest stallion ever to be awarded "preferent"
and
has proven himself to be an absolute top sire of
international sport horses with offspring competing at the very top Grand Prix levels (1.60m
or 5'2") and
World Cup jumping. Concorde was elected Horse of the Year in 2004 and
was the highest ranked KWPN stallion in the top ten of the WBFSH and
